Welcome to ARStreamer ("the Service"), a live news media hub operated by ARStreamer ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using arstreamer.com and any associated services, you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ARStreamer. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Description of Service
ARStreamer is a live media aggregation platform that provides:
- Real-time news aggregation from thousands of global news sources via the NewsAPI service
- A live news ticker and breaking news alerts
- Social media integration for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts
- A searchable live news crawler with over 2,500 monitored sources
- Trending news topics with links to verified external news sources
- Content filtering by category, region, and keyword
ARStreamer aggregates and links to content from third-party news sources. We do not produce original journalism and do not claim ownership of third-party news content displayed through our platform.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
The Service is available globally. However, you are solely responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction. If accessing the Service is prohibited in your country, you must not use it.
User Accounts
Certain features of ARStreamer, including social media integration, may require you to connect external accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). When you connect these accounts:
- You authorise ARStreamer to access your social media data in accordance with the permissions you grant
- You remain fully responsible for all activity that occurs through your connected social accounts
- You must not share your access credentials with any third party
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we detect misuse
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to transmit, distribute or store material that violates applicable law or infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

Third-party news content: News articles, images, headlines, and summaries displayed on ARStreamer are sourced from third-party news publishers via the NewsAPI service. All such content remains the intellectual property of the respective news organisations. ARStreamer displays this content pursuant to applicable fair use and linking provisions and does not claim ownership over it.
ARStreamer content: The ARStreamer name, logo, interface design, software code, and original content created by us are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without our express written permission.
Image content: Story images displayed on the platform are sourced from Unsplash (unsplash.com) under their free-to-use licence. Category images and interface graphics are similarly licenced for use.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Service contains links to third-party websites, news articles, and external platforms. These links are provided for your convenience only. ARStreamer:
- Does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any linked third-party websites
- Is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of third-party content
- Recommends you review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit
ARStreamer uses the following key third-party services: NewsAPI (news aggregation), Unsplash (images), Google Favicon Service (source logos), and Meta Graph API and TikTok API (social media integration). Your use of these services through our platform is additionally subject to their respective terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any news content aggregated through the platform
ARStreamer is a news aggregation service. We do not verify, fact-check, or guarantee the accuracy of content published by third-party news organisations. Always consult primary sources for critical information.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARSTREAMER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service
- Damages resulting from unauthorised access to your data
- Damages resulting from errors or inaccuracies in third-party news content
- Damages resulting from interruption or cessation of the Service
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ARStreamer and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Termination
ARStreamer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
